Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Knowledge of programming languages will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all testing activities within the organization, from planning to execution.
- Create a testing plan for projects, defining what testing needs to be done and how it should be conducted.
- Lead the team in developing and executing manual and automated test cases to verify functionality and security of software applications.
- Regularly report on issues found during testing activities and their resolutions to enable management to take corrective actions if necessary.
- Keep track of all testing activities and their updates for future reference.
- Lead direct client discussions and daily status meetings.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Guide the team towards successful and timely project completion.
- Continuously review and enhance testing processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development in quality assurance.
- Ensure the availability and stability of test environments, including setting up necessary configurations and data for testing.
- Implement and monitor key quality metrics and KPIs to assess testing effectiveness and provide regular reports on quality trends and improvements.
Key Skills Required
- Experience: Previous SaaS sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
